The Entaliq Scholarship Program opens new horizons for bright and successful futures filled with achievements and innovation. It offers students the opportunity to become members of the MBRSC and participate in the most advanced scientific projects in the UAE, including the Emirates Mars Mission - Hope Probe, which will be launched to Mars in 2020, marking a historic achievement witnessed by the whole world.
Through the Entaliq Scholarship Program, MBRSC is committed to supporting high school graduates and college students, who are planning to pursue their education in the field of science and engineering, thus helping them achieve a promising future. The program's supervisors choose outstanding students that aspire to enhance the position of the UAE at international levels and become a source of national pride. MBRSC provides them with financial support to complete their higher education as well the necessary training to enable them, following their graduation, to start a promising career in the centre and to contribute to building national capacity in space science and advanced technology.
The program aims to increase the number of UAE engineers and enhance their knowledge and skills to increase productivity and contribute to building a knowledge-based economy. The program is also designed to accelerate the process of recruiting Emirati engineers, technicians and experts to meet the projected vacancies in the centre's future ambitious projects. This will advance the presence and status of the UAE in the space sector on an international level.
MBRSC is committed to providing all the opportunities for the development of UAE national cadres, enhancing their talents and capabilities and honing their skills and creative abilities through world-class career development programmes. It also supports them in continuing their studies in the field of space technology in collaboration with some of the most prestigious universities and educational facilities all over the world. Students will gain valuable scientific expertise during their work on the centre's projects.
The Entaliq Scholarship Program covers the following academic disciplines:
High school graduates and college students wishing to pursue their education in the fields of administrative sciences, general sciences and engineering can apply for the Entaliq Scholarship Program. Students must meet the following requirements:
Be a UAE National (hold a valid UAE passport and Family Book (Khulasat Al Qaid))
Submit a Certificate of Good Conduct
Possess an aggregate score of at least 85% in high school academic evaluations
Have a minimum GPA of 2.8 for university students
For students who want to study abroad, they are required to choose among the top 50 universities in the US or UK listed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
Be prepared to work for MBRSC after graduation and during summer vacation
